Sheltering a major portion of world's population of Rhinos, Kaziranga lies partly in Golaghat and Nagaon districts of Assam. Travel Guidelines/ Important Information:-
- The park is divided into four zones, namely Central, Eastern, Western and Ghorakati range but only three routes are open for visitors
- All the entry formalities need to be processed at the main entry gate (Kohora, Bagori and Agaratoli )
- Above mentioned places is the entry point for Morning and Afternoon safaris
- The park charges entry fee Rs. 100/- (Per Indian Individual) & Rs. 600/- (Foreigners)
- The safari is conducted by the forest department in two different shifts
- Morning Jeep Safari timing is 07:00 AM to 09:30 AM. Afternoon Jeep safari from 01:30 PM to 02:45 PM.
- The park timing is 07:30 AM to 4.00 PM
