Kaziranga National Park Jeep Safari to Open for Tourist from October 12

Kaziranga National Park: Kaziranga National Park in Assam, famous for one-horned –rhinos, will reopen for wildlife enthusiasts on October 12 next after it was closed in May this year due to monsoon season. Good news has come after heavy flood outbreak in Assam that spoiled so many things. Approx 90 per cent of the total park area was flooded and animals shifted to the hilly areas to make an escape from flood.
The internationally acclaimed UNESCO declared World Heritage Site will reopen for tourists at Mihimukh under kohora Range of the park.
According to forest officials Kaziranga National Park, only Jeep Safari is scheduled to open at Bagori Range, while Bora will open Burapahar Range in the park.
The arrival of the migratory birds has already started that is going to create great enthusiasm among travelers. Safari routes and paths being repaired at fast pace to open other safari gates also. Domestic and international tourists are likely to reach on the first day of opening of the park this season.
Agoratoli Range of the park is famous for migratory avines. Pellical galley is likely to be remain closed for tourist due to massive destruction by floods during the recent devastating that has caused life of several rhinos, swamp deer, hog deer and other animals residing there.
Kaziranga National Park is popular for the endangered Great Indian One-Horned Rhinos, Royal Bengal Tiger, Deer and several other wildlife species.
