Kaziranga National Park Authorities Providing Blankets, Heaters for Animals

The Kaziranga National Park forest authorities availed all winter essentials such as blankets and heaters to animals for their utmost care and protection from chilled winter.

Sources revealed, blankets and heaters are given to the Centre for Wildlife Rehabilitation and Conservation for the Kaziranga animals. Animals are seen layered in blankets, especially baby elephants. 

“As per the statement of Samsul Ali, veterinary doctor of Centre for Wildlife Rehabilitation and Conservation,” we are doing our best to protect baby rhinos and baby elephants with the provision of winter clothes”. 

Presently the Kaziranga National Park is indulged in looking after the nine baby elephants, five baby horses and one tiger cub along with other ample animals. Authorities are taking responsibility of animal’s rich and nutritious diets for their better health. The birds are even kept in incubated rooms for their safety from bone-chilling cold in the national park. The animal’s protection is our first priority to safeguard them from winter. This decision is ultimately to create a better atmosphere to make the animals feel super comfortable.
