Various varieties of local fruits, flowers, fish, and around 200 species of medicinal plants are on the verge of extinction. Tourists can also relish cultural shows here every evening at 7 o’clock. 2. Ethnic Village- Amidst the serenity of nature and away from the orchids lies the quiet and beautiful ethnic village showcasing the lifestyle of the ethnic groups of the Karbi-Anglong district. Featuring 12 beautiful cottages imitating the styles of the tribal houses of Assam. Built on both sides of the roadway leading to the village houses with their separate entrances and give the feel of a tribal house. Depicting the tribal lifestyle there is a small statue garden at the entrance with sculptures of human beings.
3. Deopahar Archaeological Site- It is a 9th-century historical archaeological site located at Deopahar just a few kilometers away from Kaziranga. It is a must-visit place for tourists visiting Kaziranga. The Fascinating Butterfly garden in Deopahar attracts tourists from across the country. You can witness a wide variety of exotic and unique butterflies in this place that you will rarely see anywhere else in the world.
