In the Monsoon, Kaziranga National Park
Rhinos are in abundance in Kaziranga National Park, which makes the park beautiful from a close view. During monsoon, the park is not worth visiting as Assam is the utmost rainfall-prone area so visiting this region will disappoint you. The place experiences a humid monsoon season between July and September when most of the areas near the seashores go underwater. The summer months have worth visiting time between February and May when the temperatures are around 37 degrees. The winter months come in between November and February which has a favorable and pleasurable climate and temperatures exceed not beyond 25 degrees Celsius.
Can we go for a safari during the monsoon in Kaziranga National Park?
Assam usually have heavy rainfall during this time of the year, and the park and the nearest areas get flooded, so it is always advisable not to wander the region even for birding and other engagement. Going on safari is generally not advisable during this time but if you want then while having rain you cannot visit the Kaziranga National Park Jungle. When it is not raining then you can have the safari indulgence on the go.
