Female Tiger Cub Found Dead in Kaziranga National Park

News update: A four-month-old female was found dead in Kaziranga National Park in Assam on Tuesday, the park’s director P Shiv Kumar said.

According to park director senior officials including veterinary, officials from the National Tiger Conservation Authority, NGOs, and media persons visited the spot, and after post-mortem and sample collection for further investigation, the cub was cremated.
General investigation and post-mortem report revealed broken ribs and multiple puncture marks on the neck. The cause of the death might be in fighting among the animals.
